On 20th May 2006 the ‘Butterfly Baby’ got married (so-called because she was the first and youngest patient to be supported by Butterfly North East).
Katherine and Stephen said “I do” on Saturday 20th May at St Charles’ Church in Gosforth.
A reception at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art on the Quayside was enjoyed by family and friends.
The loved up pair went to Jamaica on honeymoon. They met just three months before Katherine was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and have been together ever since. A very happy ending!
