Check Up

Routine check ups every 3/6 months in clinic will follow the 6/7 month follow up test.

At check up appointments you can expect to have a neck examination and blood taken to check thyroxine,T4/T3/TSH levels, thyroglobulin, thyroglobulin antibodies and calcium, PTH (if required).

You will receive a letter to inform you of your results.

Following this, if all is well, you will attend for a check up every six months and after five years this will be annually to every two years.
