Butterfly receives MOVE! Challenge donation from AstraZeneca

 Butterly are delighted to be the UK chosen recipient of the MOVE! Challenge donation from AstraZeneca.

European Brand Manager, Mathias Wundrum, explains the initiative:

In February 2013 AstraZeneca initiated the MOVE! Challenge to give employees across Europe and their friends the possibility to raise awareness and money for organizations that support patients with rare diseases.

MOVE! was meant to be a sports event to support rare diseases and registration closed with 621 people in 118 teams that committed to MOVE! for this charity – an incredible result.

Some of the challenges are really creative and extraordinary. 8,000 km of running, swimming, cycling, dancing, playing football or whatever each team committed, adds up to more than €30,000 because every kilometer of distance covered will be exchanged for real money and donated to charities dealing with rare diseases.
